The History of the Singleton Estate, Swansea
This website was created as a way to document the history of the Singleton Estate; from the earliest records available to the modern day. The website serves to make public some 10+ years of research on the Estate, and specifically on the building known as Singleton Abbey.
The website is run on an educational, non-commercial basis, and is very much a work in progress.
The website is in no way related to Swansea Council, Swansea University or any other official bodies and is all the product of independent research.
I hope, eventually, to supplement the wordiness of the website with pictures, 3D reconstructions and other media to help the reader understand the building and site.
